Dragons are a race of powerful magical beings that originate from the lands of Xadia.

Adulthood
Adult dragons mainly appear as massive reptiles with horns, four legs, bat-like wings, razor-sharp teeth and claws. Hatchlings, such as Azymondias, appear to be only as large as glow toads. The most powerful of the dragons are called Archdragons. They are also able to live for centuries.
Sky Dragons
Sky dragons, also known as Storm dragons, have a connection to the magical energy of the Sky, and are able to control and harness the powers of the wind and the storm, allowing them to perform abilities such as channeling lightning through their bodies or firing them from their mouths. It is implied that Sky dragons are extremely rare because they only lay an egg once every one thousand years, and that the egg can only hatch in the eye of a storm.

Sun Dragons
Sun dragons have a connection to the magical energy of the Sun, and are able to harness the powers of the sun, allowing them to breathe streams of fire from their mouths.

Emberback spiders are spiders that appear to be connected to the Sun Primal. An emberback spider is used to cast a dark magic spell conjuring a small flame in Bloodthirsty.
Glow toads are amphibians magical creatures that are connected to the Sun Primal. They can emit blinding light and their skin changes colors to reflect their moods. They are also perpetually grumpy. Glow toads are known for being delicious and used by deep-sea fishermen to catch giant fish
Gryphons are winged, four legged bird creatures. They are known to be poached for their eyes, feathers and their talons, which serve as ingredients for dark magic spells. (not yet seen in the show)
Magma titans are large humanoid beings that are connected to the Earth Primal. They mainly appear as giants covered in a plated armor of rocks and lava. (Used in the show for magic to make a longer lasting summer for more crops to grow)
Archangel Lunaris are giant moon moths that are connected to the Moon Primal. They are used to track sources of moon energy, especially creatures that are connected to the moon e.g. Moonshadow elves.
Moon phoenixes are large phoenix-like creatures that are connected to the Moon Primal. Their strengths revolve mostly around the Moon nexus and the further away they are from the nexus the faster they can weaken to fatigue.
Soulfang serpents are snake-like creatures that dwell in the Black Sands of the Midnight Desert in Xadia. Its bite allows it to drain and consume the spirit of its prey.
