Primal Stone

Primal Stones are powerful artifacts that act as conduits to Primal Sources even when the source itself is not immediately available. They give a mage access to Primal energy anywhere, anytime: Sun magic in darkness, Earth magic at sea, and Moon magic during the day. But Primal Stones are incredibly rare — only master mages can craft them, and the crafting rituals themselves have largely been lost to time.

Sunforged Equipment are rare, magical weapons and armor forged by Sunfire Elves. They are enchanted with sun magic giving them unique properties making them very valuable. It is assumed that crafting Sunforged Equipment is the key skill that Sunfire Elves are known for. Sunforged Blades are rare weapons created by the Sunfire Elves that remain as hot as when they were forged for hundreds of years. The sheath they are kept in is inscribed with runes to protect the wielder from the extreme heat. I

Primal Source Based Creatures

Primal Source Based creatures are animals or monster who have an arcanum within them, most animals in both Xadia and the human realm carry an arcanium that can be harvested from. However, each part of a creature holds a different aspect to power, IE the heart of a magma titan can do a country wide heat and prosperity wave. How you use these magics, and why it’s so frowned upon, is that you must take the life of the creature to use that power.

Nexus

A nexus is where the primal source of magic is at it’s strongest due to it’s relation to the primal source. For example, the Moon Nexus is a beautiful lake high on a mountain where the full moon reflects perfectly on the water's surface, and where moon magic is the strongest.
